Assorted: A Precuts Please Project
I know it is the middle of summer and it feels strange to be thinking about a Valentine’s Day project but the original setup of Precuts Please was a book that featured 12 large projects (one for each month). So in shifting all the patterns over to the website, we end up with a weird timeline where I’m posting a Valentine’s Day project in 100 degree July.
At least you’ll be prepared in advance?
Assorted is a fun one.
In my two decades+ in this industry, I’ve always shied away from heart quilts because it seemed too easy to inadvertently copy someone else’s design. Hearts are….hearts. And they are everywhere.
(Sidenote: Which is such a silly notion looking back because if I had just made the original heart quilt ideas then they would have been out for years by now.)
One thing I hadn’t ever seen done with a quilt design was to do a box of chocolates. It’s fun…it’s classic…it really is something I should have designed ages ago.
The PDF copy includes a coloring sheet in case you’d like to play around with the colors in the design.
