How to Sew an Economy Block

While Foundation Paper Piecing works well for me, I know that it isn’t for everyone.

This is a quick guide on how to make an Economy Block if you’re using traditional piecing methods.

IMPORTANT NOTE: I size UP the squares for B and C and then trim down to size after piecing.

I prefer this method vs. measuring to the exact 1/8” of an inch for each square.

All of the sizes for B and C pieces listed in the chart are sized up this way.
